Aardschok

Lords of Metal

Wings of Death

Noisepollution

“So far, I’m completely consumed by this EP. It feels like I’m hearing everything that made the younger me in to a metalhead in the first place. While Harbour Of Souls would not be considered a metal band by today’s standards, this is the kind of music that will always be metal to me!”

Metal To Infinity

“This is pure old school Hard Rock, with some Heavy Metal ingredients, the kind we love since ages”

CGCM Podcast

“If you really love the classic sounds of NWOBHM, with a modern twist to it, that is, as I put it, “modern classic” then Doomsayer is the album you need to hear. I think that if Harbour of Souls came out with this album in about 1987-88 then it would have been a big hit!”

Metalinside

“Perhaps the fact that I’m a female and that the third track is called ‘Queen on her throne’ made it that much more appealing to me. I can’t put my finger on ‘why’ that tune is so damn attractive to dance to.”

“If you're a fan of seventies hard rock and NWOBHM, you might want to start drooling now. Dutch rockers Harbour Of Souls got stuck in the era of old Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy and so on, which results in flashing guitar solos, heavy metal thunder and everything else that made this style of music one of the most popular things on earth.” merchantsofair.com

Goedgemaakte vintage. Wie houdt van bands zoals Thin Lizzy, Scorpions, Iron Maiden of Judas Priest zal dit zeker weten te waarderen.” metalfans.be

“Harbour Of Souls: The Zeeland Thin Lizzy!” permafrost.today

“Hard Rock rarely sounds so fresh in the present. From this straight 70s / 80s sound one would like to hear much more.” mhf-mag.com

About Harbour of Souls

HARBOUR OF SOULS BIOGRAFIE - NEDERLANDS

(ENGLISH BELOW)

About Harbour of Souls

HARBOUR OF SOULS BIOGRAPHY - ENGLISH

Five friendly neighbors from the countryside of Zeeland, The Netherlands, blending classic hard rock with sheer heavy metal aggression.

The story of Harbour Of Souls is a classic one. A band is falling apart, some remaining members decide to jam and write some songs in one of those members’ garden shed. A year goes by and suddenly there is enough material for a set list. A band is formed to try out these songs live. The first show is one in support of Peter Pan Speedrock. Thrown to the wolves, the only way to learn.

The band is playing regularly on the Dutch and Belgian stages, and has played with bands like Picture, Bliksem, Death Alley, Them, After All, Tank (UK), Shadowkeep (USA) and Mark Boals (USA).

“Harbour of Souls from Goes play real classic Hardrock. They are already labelled the Thin Lizzy of Zeeland.”

“It is Hardrock in bite-sized chunks. No infinite double-bass violence. No drop D guitars. Songs with a head and tail. Classic riffs, classic sound, classic themes, cool solos and Iron Maiden-esque screams.”
